Delete your account in the application

1. Sign in to your The REI Calc account.
2. Open the account icon in the navigation to display the Account menu.
3. Select Delete Account.
4. Review the deletion notice, check the permanent-deletion confirmation, and enter your current password.
5. Select Permanently delete my account and keep the page open until deletion is confirmed.

Your current password is used to confirm your identity, and the Service requires a recent authenticated session before it will delete the account. If deletion is interrupted before confirmation, sign in again and retry.

What is deleted

Account deletion removes your active The REI Calc sign-in and profile, saved reports, active report shares, private report images, report-usage and quota information, notifications, account-linked Contact submissions, billing and subscription application records, and associated bounded client-error records. It terminates the associated subscription and payment-provider relationship where present. Your sign-in account is removed after associated application data has been cleaned up.

Limited retention after deletion

• Limited system recovery copies can retain deleted cloud data for up to seven days. These copies are not available through the product and are not restored into active use after an intentional account deletion.
• A limited pseudonymous deletion-safety record remains for 30 days to prevent delayed system events from recreating deleted account data. It does not contain your raw account identifier, email, name, password, token, or payment details.
• Payment and infrastructure providers may retain transaction, security, request, and audit records under their own policies or applicable obligations.

Local browser data

Anonymous calculator drafts and some site data stored only in your browser are not tied to your cloud account and can remain on that device after account deletion. Clear The REI Calc site data in your browser or device settings if you also want to remove those local drafts, preferences, and caches.
